Internship roles are project based and the intern is likely to work on one large project throughout the summer. The project is likely to be a combination of field work, analysis and presenting to conclusions both internally and externally. An example of a recent project is a study on potential shelf-life extension for various berry varieties. This involved visiting growers, analyzing and writing up conclusions and presenting to leading U.K. retail customers.
