He previously served as Systems Engineer/Analyst with Procter & Gamble from 1978-1984, and as Owner/CEO of Diver Chevrolet from 1984-2008. He holds a BS from Indiana University. Diver has been recognized for outstanding community service by Ronald McDonald House of Delaware (Past President), Rotary Club of Wilmington (Past President), Delaware Futures (Past President), Brandywine Zoo, Tower Hill School, Trinity Parish, and PAWS for People. Jason HowellJason Howell Company Jason Howell’s life story began in California, just minutes before President Richard Nixon resigned. As a first generation American he began learning lessons from corporate America at the earliest age permitted in Virginia (14 years and 8 months old). His corporate journey took him through careers in banking, accounting and human resources. As a thought leader around workplace innovation and Patriotic Development®, he has become a sought after speaker. Jason is an avid volunteer having served as President of local Toastmasters and currently serving as President of the Washington, DC chapter of ALPFA: the oldest and largest professional association for Latinos. He is also a Director on the alumni board of George Mason University’s School of Management. Jason Howell is the author of AMERICA: Still the Land of Opportunity, Always a Home for the Brave and a forthcoming book on new opportunities for innovation in the American workplace. |

Edward McLaughlinCornell University Edward McLaughlin is the Robert G. Tobin Professor of Marketing at the Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management, at Cornell University where he serves as the Director of the Undergraduate Program and Director of the Food Industry Management Program. He received his PhD at Michigan State University. Before his academic appointment, he had extensive international experience, having spent four years in Africa with the U.S. State Department, the United Nations, and the World Bank. Dr. McLaughlin’s research interests include retailing strategies, linking customer satisfaction to firm performance, the economics of retailing and produce marketing. His research appears routinely in academic journals including Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, American Journal of Agricultural Economics and Journal of Retailing and he is the author or co-author of three books. He has won several national awards for his research and his teaching and recently was designated a Weiss Presidential Teaching Fellow, Cornell University’s most prestigious award for distinguished teaching. Dr. McLaughlin’s work spans the globe: he is Professor of Retailing at Nyenrode, The Netherlands School of Business and at IESEG, Graduate Management School in Lille and Paris, France. He is also Director of the Ahold Retail Academy in The Netherlands and Dean of the Cornell-Japan Retail Management Program of Japan. Dr. McLaughlin is past director on PMA’s Retail Board and the PMA Foundation Education Board. |
